3) Installation of the AEM Hybrid Intake System.
When installing the Intake System, DO NOT completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting tab
hardware until instructed to do so later in these instructions.
c) Install the supplied rubber mount in the
threaded hole in the stock fender well.
d) Install the supplied reducer coupler to the
throttle body and secure using the #44 hose
clamp.
a) Disconnect the water bypass hose from the
bottom of the throttle body. Install with the new
5/16” hose and clamp from the AEM kit.
b) Remove the other end of the water bypass
hose from the fitting on the engine. Install the
other end of the 5/16” hose on to this fitting and
secure both ends in place with ¾” hose clamps.
Replace any coolant that was drained out.
