GETTING STARTED

Installing the battery pack

Place the supplied rechargeable battery pack into the battery compartment, and slide
the battery down into the recess, as shown.

Install the back cover by aligning the back cover tabs with the notches located at the
top of the back panel.

Push down the back cover until it clicks into place.

IMPORTANT!

Use only the rechargeable battery pack supplied with the product.
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

Charging the battery

New batteries are not charged when shipped. Before you start using your phone, you will
need to charge the battery.

Place the handset on the base station to charge for

at least 6 hours

. The Red charging

LED will light up.

Once charged,

will appear to indicate that the handset is fully charged.

Note

If the Red Charging LED did not light up, you need to re-align the Voxtel Smart 3 to get a
good charging contact with the base station.

If your Voxtel Smart 3 battery is totally flat, it may take a while before you can power up
the phone.

Battery performance depends on your usage patterns.
