NOTE:
The 3 batteries in the battery compartment have been
secured with a foil for transport of the device. This is to
extend the lifespan of the batteries. Remove the foil prior
to first use in order to prepare the device for operation.
If the power of the device weakens during operation,
proceed as follows:
• Press the unlock key (3) to open the battery compart
-
ment (2).
• Replace the batteries by batteries of similar type (AA •
UM-3 • R6).
• Observe right polarity! Please follow the markings on the
device.
• Do not mix other battery types or new and old batteries.
• If the device will not be used for a longer period of time,
remove the batteries, in order to avoid “leakage”.
WARNING:
Do not expose batteries to extreme heat or direct sunlight.
Never throw batteries into fire.
