Micro Bake

This method is ideal for Roasting meats and baking cakes. It is also good for cooking foods that
require crisp tops, such as potato gratin’s and lasagne. Remember that the oven and dishes will
be hot.
Example: Set Convection cooking at 200o C for 1hr 30 mins
1.
Press the Micro Bake button . 180°C, appears in the display for approximately 2 seconds. You
can view the temperature again by pressing the Micro Bake button.

Set the desired temperature by After 2 seconds the Display will show “. 0” turning the setting
control knob You may now input the desired cooking time. either clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Set the desired programme time with the setting control knob.

Press the START button. The display will now show “ C” The oven will now pre-heat to the
desired temperature. When the desired temperature is reached the oven will beep twice and
the programme will pause.
NB During the Preheat mode you can view the selected temperature by pressing the
MicroBake button, it can be changed by turning the setting control knob. You can also cancel
the Preheat by pressing the Start button. If you choose to cancel the Preheat you should put
your food into the oven before you enter any programmes.

Open the door and Insert your food.

Close the door and press start. The Oven will now resume its programme and the cooktime
will start to count down.
In the convection mode the Oven can be set to the following temperatures.
40o C then 100o C to 250o C in steps of 10o C. You may modify the convection
temperature during the programme. To do this,

Press the Micro Bake button
•
Turn the setting control knob to the new temperature
At the end of the cooking time, the oven will automatically stop. The cooling fan and oven light
will still be on until the turntable has returned to its original position. When the oven has
switched off completely, 3 soft audible bell sounds will be heard and the grill symbol will flash.
At this stage, it is not possible to enter any further programmes. To enter another programme
you will have to press the stop/clear button.
When the cooking time has expired, if there is no action taken, 2 soft tones will be heard every
30 seconds for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, three soft tones will be heard, and the window
display will revert to the time of day.
During the convection operation, it is possible to adjust the length of cooking time required by
turning the Setting Control Knob clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or decrease the
remaining time in the display in steps of approximately 30 sec’s. It is not possible to add the grill
function. Microwave power of 150W or 450W can be added by touching the Power button. &
The maximum cooking time for this oven is 90 minutes.
