Overview of the main menu
System settings
Slide control
Some menus contain sliders, e.g. to adjust the volume or brightness. Use
the sliders as follows:
1.
Select it by pressing the
ENTER
button.
2.
Move the control by the
Cursor Buttons
( / ).
3.
Confirm your input by
ENTER

NOTE:
Some menu settings are available only in stop mode (depending on
the DVD).
TV-System
Adjust the output of the DVD player to the color transmission system of
your reproducer. The following options are available:
NTSC:
System prevalent mainly in Northern America.
PAL:
System prevalent in Europe.
AUTO:
Select this setting if the reproducer is a multi-system device.
NOTE:
You can switch between the options also by the
P/N
button (Fig. 2/15).
Screen saver
The device can display a still image on screen indefinitely. This can cause
damage to the screen. Hence, it is useful to enable the screen saver.
The following options are available:
ON:
The screen saver is enabled (standard setting).
OFF:
The screen saver is disabled.
