AUX IN socket
To connect analogue replay devices. Via this socket you can
also hear the sound of other playback devices such as MP3
players, CD players etc. through the loudspeakers.
1. Please connect the external device with a 3.5 mm stereo
jack plug to the AUX-IN socket.
2. Repeatedly press the FUNCTION button (7), until “AU” is
shown in the display.
3. You will hear the sound playback from the external device
through the loudspeakers. You may adjust the volume
with
/
(4). The CD buttons are not functional.
4. For the remaining procedure please see the operating
instructions of the external sound source.
NOTE:
Adjust the volume of the external device to a comfortable
level.
Alarm function
Setting the alarm time
1. Switch the device to standby with the button.
2. Press the AL.SET button (5) for about 2 seconds. The
hours will blink in the display and the notification “AL”
will be shown.
3. Perform the settings with the
/
buttons.
4. Confirm your entry with the AL.SET button. The minutes
will blink in the display.
5. Perform the settings with the
/
buttons.
6. Press the AL.SET button again to store the alarm time.
Setting the alarm time mode
You can be woken by the following modes:
- Signal tone (Buzzer): A bell symbol will be shown in the
display. When the alarm time is reached, a signal tone will
sound.
- Radio: As soon as your set alarm time has been reached,
the radio will turn on. The preset station will play.
- CD, USB or CARD: As soon as the set alarm time has
been reached, the device will turn on in the selected
mode.
NOTE:
• If no CD has been inserted, or if no USB card storage
medium has been connected, you will be woken by the
signal tone.
• The volume will increase to the factory preset volume in
each alarm mode.
1. Repeatedly press the AL.SET button to set the desired
alarm mode.
Switching off the alarm signal
Press the button (14) to switch off the alarm signal until the
following day.
Automatic alarm interval
The automatically set alarm function can be switched off for
about 9 minutes with the SNOOZE button (9).
NOTE:
The notification “AL” will blink in the display with an activat-
ed function.
Deactivating the alarm function
Press the AL.SET button (5) repeatedly until the notification
“AL” goes out in the display.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
Do not immerse the device in water.
• Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the
machine.
• Any marks on the surface can be wiped off with a slightly
damp cloth without any additives.
