Switching the appliance on and off
1.
Turn the ring switch to the left to
maximum power
.
2.
Press the ring switch in firmly, until
the gas has ignited. After a success-
ful ignition hold the ring switch de-
pressed for about 5 seconds. If the
flame should go out, repeat the ig-
nition process.
3.
Set the desired power. The power
can be set progressively from maxi-
mum power
to minimum power
.
4.
To end the cooking process, turn
back to the Off position.

In the event of a power cut or also when the spark plug is wet (because
of food boiling over or cleaning) the rings can also be ignited using a
gas lighter or a match.

Only take cookware from the ring when at minimum power or in the
Off Position •.
