What to do, if...
Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be
solved easily without calling out an engineer.
Before contacting your local Service Force Centre, please carry out the checks listed
below.
Important:
If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below or to repair a fault
caused by incorrect use or installation a charge will be made even if
the appliance is in guarantee.

start

drain
...the machine does not fill
with water
The water tap is closed.
The door has not been
properly closed.
Close the door.
Open the water tap.
The mains water supply has
been cut off.
Wait for the supply to be
restored.
The inlet hose may be
squashed or bent.
The inlet hose may be
blocked.
The drain hose may be
squashed or bent. The drain
hose extension is not
correct.
The sink may be blocked.
Clear any blockages.
Reposition the drain hose
correctly. Follow the
instructions for
connecting to the waste.
Reposition the hose
correctly.
Switch off the water
supply and clean the
filter.

Once you have checked the possible causes listed above, switch on the dishwasher
and start a wash programme, if the fault persists contact the Service Force Centre.
