Press the
PROGRAM
key. A table will be displayed.

Navigate to the “CLEAR” command at the lower end of the table
using the
directional keys
(Fig. 3/28).

Confirm the command by pressing the
ENTER
key (Fig. 3/7).
4.
To finish, press the
PROGRAM
key.
Work in file mode
Besides the opportunity to playback “normal” movies or music from CDs/
DVDs, this DVD player offers you the option to playback video or audio
files from CDs or DVDs stored in file systems. Such media are common
when CDs containing digital images or MP3 music files are created on
the computer.
1.
Insert the CD or DVD into the drive
Page 45, “Load CD/DVD”.
2.
Select the desired file(s) and start playback
Page 50, “Select file/
directory and start playback”.
The following memory cards can be used:

Multi Media Card
Memory-Stick

Insert the memory card into the card reader (Fig. 2/7).
2.
Press the
USB/CARD
key (Fig. 3/23) on the remote control to switch
the DVD player to file mode.
3.
Select the “CARD” mode using the
directional keys
(Fig. 3/28).
Confirm by
ENTER
(Fig. 3/7).
NOTE:
To find out which playable files are to be found, the DVD player
will scan the contents of the storage media. This process can take
some time in large storage media.

Select the desired file(s) and start playback

If you want to switch back to DVD mode press the
USB/CARD
key
(Fig. 3/23) again. Select the “DISC” mode using the
directional keys
(Fig. 3/28). Confirm by pressing
ENTER
(Fig. 3/7).
By way of the USB connection, you can connect various devices to the
DVD player, e.g. USB memory sticks or digital cameras.
This device has been developed according to the latest state of the art
concerning USB. The vast amount of diverse USB storage media of all
kinds on offer today doesn’t allow full compatibility with all and every
USB storage media. For this reason, problems with playback from USB
storage media might occur in rare cases. This is
no
malfunction of the
device.
