WARNING:
Always check the spindle lock button is fully released before switching on
the tool!
After using the spindle lock to tighten / loosen the abrasive disk, it is
possible that the button may stick in the lock position. Whilst this will not
damage the tool it may cause the tool or battery protection to operate and
remove power to the tool. Turn off the switch, remove the battery then
carefully rock the disk back and forth to release the spindle lock button.
NOTE:
If the battery protection has also activated, simply remove the battery pack
from the tool and replace it, thus resetting the protection.
The flange nut must be
securely tightened before
the machine is started.
