• Always place the hot iron horizontally
on the iron rest-plate (fig.
1/E
). The
iron must not be placed in the vertical
position.
• While ironing stand the base on a sta-
ble surface to ensure a sufficient circu-
lation of air under the appliance.
• Iron bases with a wooden surface
should be protected from moisture
with an oilcloth or similar material.
• The connecting cable must not be bent
nor wound around the hot iron.Only
store the appliance when cool.
• For longer periods of storage empty
the water from the station.
• The appliance must only be used when
in satisfactory condition. If it is dam-
aged, contact the AEG customer serv-
ice.
• Please check the power cable for dam-
age from time to time! A special tool is
required to eliminate damage to the
connecting cable. Therefore contact
your specialist dealer directly or the
relevant AEG customer service depart-
ment in this case and for all other
faults.
Repairs to electrical appliances must
only be performed by specialists!
Considerable danger can arise for the
user if repairs are not done properly.
