The green LEDs display the capacity of 
the battery. With use, the LEDs turn off 
as battery capacity decreases. When 
the green LEDs turn off and the red LED 
lights, replace the battery. 

 

Shock button (semi-automatic model 
only)

 

 

Lights red when the AED is ready to 

deliver a defibrillation shock. 

 

Press to deliver therapy to the patient.

Lights when the AED detects a need for
