MAIN MENU

When the hand-held tester is connected to the LEONARDO E.C.U., the main menu includes five options:

• DISPLAY PARAMETERS;

• VEHICLE CONFIGURATION;

• OPTIONAL CONFIGURATIONS;

• DIAGNOSIS;

• ORIGINAL INDICATOR (this option is not displayed with the AEB175OI ECU’s).

DISPLAY PARAMETERS (Fig. 5)

This option consists of two pages (to switch from one page to the

other, use the “arrow” keys

and

- see page 40) to display the

parameters needed to verify for the correct operation of the E.C.U.:

• First page (Fig. 6)

The display parameters are:

ACT:

real time indication of the position of the stepper motor expressed

in steps.

DEF:

average operational position (default) of the actuator.

This position is memorized by the E.C.U. and expressed in steps.

RPM:

real time indication of engine RPM.

TPS:

real time indication of the THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR signal

voltage, expressed in volts (V).

The four marks beside the T.P.S. value graphically display the position

of the butterfly and provide the following indications:

MODE:

indicates whether the E.C.U. works on GAS or PETROL.

LEVEL:

absolute value showing the quantity of the GAS in the tank.

EDGE:

indicates when the stepper motor has reached the opening

and closing blocks by displaying both the number of steps at which

the stepper motor has stopped and an arrow indicating whether the

opening or closing limit has been reached.

CUT-OFF:

indicates if the fuel Cut-Off mode is ON or OFF.
