CAUTION: Any unverified component may cause unexpected damage. To
ensure safe installation, always use the components (i.e., screws) provided in
the accessory box.

CAUTION: This product is not intended for use by children (this product is not a
toy). This equipment is not suitable for use in locations where children are likely
to be present.

Repair of the device should be conducted by trained service personnel only. We
recommend that a service contract be obtained with Advantech Service and that
all repairs are completed by them. Otherwise, the correct functioning of the
device may be compromised.

Do not modify this equipment without authorization from the manufacturer.

CAUTION: To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment should only be con

nected to a supply mains with protective earthing.

Remove the power cord to completely stop the supply of power to the device.

CAUTION: Never immerse equipment or electrical connectors in water or other
liquids.

Remove the power cord before changing a fuse. Replace old fuses with fuses of
the same rating and type.

Observe local occupational health and safety requirements and guidelines for
manual handling.

Do not attempt to move the device by yourself. At least two people are required
to move the device.

Use only the power cable and power supply units provided with the device (one
or more power cables may be provided with the device). For the North America
region, a UL-listed and CSA-labeled power cable is required.

Operation of the device without regulatory approval is illegal.

To reduce the risk of damage and serious injury, do not expose the battery/bat

tery pack to high temperatures, direct sunlight, abnormal current, or low air pres

sure for extended periods of time. This can cause the battery/battery pack to
overheat, leak flammable liquid, explode, or ignite, leading to extremely danger
-
ous situations.

Disposal of a battery/battery pack into fire or a hot oven, or by mechanically
crushing or cutting it, can result in an explosion. Discard used batteries/battery
packs according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

CAUTION: The display monitor may cause eye strain and/or damage after long
durations of uninterrupted use. We recommend resting for 10 minutes after 30
minutes of operation.

CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance may void the user’s authority to operate this equip
