Chapter 5 Calibration
The PCI-1714 cards have been well calibrated at the factory for initial
use. You are not required to calibrate the PCI-1714 cards in normal con-
ditions. However, if calibration is required, the procedure shown in the
next pages will show how it is done.
To perform an effective calibration, prepare a standard 4-1/2 digits reso-
lution, stable and low-noise DC voltage source. It is important as the
accuracy of the device will depend on the accuracy of the DC source.
5.1 Calibration Procedure
Step 1: Click the Setup button on the Advantech Device Manager win-
dow ( Fig.5-1 ) to launch the PCI-1714 Device Setting window ( Fig.5-2 ).
