Voice
The fourth tab on
Sounds and Audio Device Properties
displays the
Voice
menu
for adjusting audio inputs and outputs when a microphone is connected to the PC.

Test hardware
Click
Test hardware
to initiate a microphone test that will calibrate the audio levels
from the microphone to the system, so that peak audio performance is attained.
Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate the microphone.

A microphone must be connected to the computer, or the internal micro-
phone must be activated.
