Installing Front Hot-Pluggable HDDs 

SAS/SATA/SSD Drives in Front with 8 Hot-Pluggable Drive Bays

取式硬碟槽

HPC-8108 series supports both SAS and SATA interface drives in front with 8 hot-
pluggable drive bays. Users do not need to remove the chassis cover when installing
the SAS/SATA/SSD drives for front HDD bays. Please follow the installation steps
below: 

1.

Press the key latch on the top of the HDD tray, then pull out the HDD tray from 
the HDD bay. 

2.

Slide the 2.5” disk drive into the proper location in the tray and fix it with 4 
screws.

3.

Return and push the HDD tray to the chassis until the handle on the tray can 
move back. 

4.

Repeat Steps 1 to 3 if the second 2.5” HDD needs to be installed.

HPC-8108 系列机种在前方 8 个热插入硬盘设计上同时支持 SAS 与 SATA 接口,用户在安
装硬盘时可直接将硬盘托盘从机箱上移除,不需要移除机箱上盖。硬盘安装步骤说明
如下:

1.

按下硬盘抽取托盘上方的固定按键后将硬盘抽取托盘拉出。

2.

将 2.5 吋硬盘固定于硬盘抽取托盘上并透过锁附四个螺丝固定。

3.

将硬盘抽取托盘放回硬盘槽中,握住把手将其推回原处。

4.

如需安装多个 SAS/SATA HDD,请重复操作步骤 1 ~ 3。

HPC-8108 系列機種在前方 8 個熱插拔硬碟設計上同時支援 SAS 與 SATA 介面,使用者在
安裝硬碟時可直接將硬碟托盤從機箱上移除,不需要移除機箱上蓋。硬碟安裝步驟說
明如下:

1.

按下硬碟抽取托盤上方的固定按鍵後將硬碟抽取托盤拉出。

2.

將 2.5 吋硬碟固定於硬碟抽取托盤上並透過鎖附四個螺絲固定。

3.

將硬碟抽取托盤放回硬碟槽中,握住把手將其推回原處。

4.

如需安裝多個 SAS/SATA HDD,請重複操作步驟 1 ~ 3。

Note!

1. SAS HDD needs to be connected via the RAID Card for support. 
2. Please choose the internal connector at rear for SAS to RAID Card 

connection.
