LAN Configuration
6.1.1
Introduction
The ASR-3100 has two Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections via dedicated PCI Express
x1 lanes: LAN1(Intel I210AT)/LAN2(Intel I210AT). They offer bandwidth of up to 250
MB/sec, eliminating the bottleneck of network data flow and incorporating Gigabit
Ethernet at 1000 Mbps.

Installation
The integrated Intel gigabit Ethernet controller supports all major network operating
systems. However, the installation procedure varies with different operating systems.
In the following sections, refer to the one that provides the driver setup procedure for
the operating system you are using.

Windows Series Driver Setup (LAN)

Insert the driver CD into your system's CD-ROM drive. Select folder "03_Lan
chip" then click the proper Lan driver for the OS.
