Using your sound processor and accessories contradic-
tory to their intended use (e.g. mouthing, chewing) may
cause bodily harm

Do not expose batteries to excessive heat (e.g. do not
store in direct sunlight or in a hot car)

Chorus users must not enter a room where an MRI
scanner is located

Remove your headpiece before connecting to auxiliary
devices
•
Only use the battery charger and power supplies provid-
ed by Advanced Bionics to charge Chorus Batteries

Only use approved wearing options provided with your
system
•
Place the sound processor in the protective case before
exposing to liquids, dust or dirt (see protective case
instructions for use)
•
The sound processor is only IP68 rated when used in
the protective case with AquaCables and the AquaMic
TM
headpiece. (see protective case instructions for use)

Remove batteries from your sound processor when they
are discharged to prevent damage from possible leaking
•
Do not use broken, frayed, or cracked cables
•
Do not expose any part of the sound processor or acces-
sories to extreme heat, such as an oven, microwave, or
hair dryer
•
If the sound processor or accessories become unusually
hot, or warm, discontinue use immediately and contact
Advanced Bionics or your cochlear implant professional
