This hardware installation guide describes the Total Access 900e Series units, details basic functionality,

Unpack and Inspect the System
Each Total Access 900e Series unit is shipped in its own cardboard shipping carton. Open the carton
carefully and avoid deep penetration into the carton with sharp objects.
After unpacking the unit, inspect it for possible shipping damage. If the equipment has been damaged in
transit, immediately file a claim with the carrier and contact ADTRAN Customer and Product Service
(refer to
Warranty and Customer Service
and
Product Support Information
, on page 10).
