The Express 3000 uses Bandwidth Allocation Control Protocol
(BACP), if supported by your ISP, to bring up and down the second
channel of a multilink call. To disable this feature, select the appropri-
ate checkbox:
profile setup / General / Disable BACP
.
Remote Access Protocols
Check with your systems administrator to determine which remote
access protocol to use.
Using Profiles
To use profiles, open the Express Configuration program. Then select
either
isdn setup
(ISDN profile) or
profile setup
(User profile). Figure
3-3 on page 3-8 shows the window that opens for an ISDN profile, and
Figure 3-4 on page 3-11 shows the window that open for a User pro-
file. These windows contain function buttons and parameter tabs.
Step-by-step instructions for using the function buttons begin on
page 3-19. Parameter tabs are described below.
ISDN Profile Window
The ISDN profile window contains three tabs: General, Packet, and
Preview. The General and Packet tabs contain fields for setting param-
eters. The Preview tab lists information about the profile shown in the
Name
box.
