Positioning the System on your Production Floor
You have uncrated the system and verified the parts and accessories list.
You are now ready to move the system to the desired location on your
production floor.
To position the system on your production floor:
Note:
The wheels are designed to allow movement over smooth surfaces. If
the travel distance is long, or the surface not smooth, it is recommended to
use a forklift to protect sensitive components.
1.
Move the system to the prepared location.
2.
Carefully maneuver the system into position.
3.
Lower the four leveling mounts.
4.
Place a level on the Theta table in the X Axis direction and level the
system by adjusting the leveling mounts (clockwise to lower,
counterclockwise to raise).
5.
Continue leveling the system with the level placed on the Theta Table
in the Y Axis direction.
6.
5 until the system is absolutely level.
7.
[Optional] Anchor the levels to the floor. See "Securing the System to
the Production Floor" on page 23.
8.
Make sure that you have removed all of the masking tape, according
to Table 23. Locating Taped System Parts. We suggest that you enter
a check mark into the “Removed” column of each location that has
been cleared of tape.
Caution:
You must remove all masking tape from the system before operating
the system. Failure to do so can result in severe damage to the system. ADT
is not responsible for any damage caused by masking tape that has not been
removed.
Caution:
Printout and use tables Table 23. Locating Taped System Parts and
Table 24. Removing Jigs to make sure that you have removed all the taped
system parts and jigs.
