Getting Started
This chapter provides information on how to install components to
the MI-110 SBC.
3.1
System Memory
The MI-110 supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 400/533 SDRAM in one
200-pin SO-DIMM socket. See Figure 1-2 on page 10 for the
SO-DIMM socket location.
Memory Module Installation
The DDR2 memory modules are notched to facilitate correct
installation in the DIMM sockets.
To install a memory module:
1. Locate the SO-DIMM slot on the motherboard.
2. Align the memory module on the socket, making sure
that the notch matches the break on the socket.
3. Insert the module firmly into the slot until the retaining clips
snap back inwards and the module is securely seated.
WARNING:
Disconnect all power supply to the board before installing a
memory module to prevent damaging the board and mem-
ory module .
