EOS-JNX Series

2.4.4

Connecting DC Power

DC power sources must comply with SELV circuits with no energy
hazard, as well as the following:

X

IEC 62368-1 + IEC 60950-1 + UL 62368-1

X

Input voltage: 12-24V DC

X

Input current: min. 8A @12V DC; min. 4A@24V DC

X

TMA: 50°C minimum

The EOS-JNX DC power input connector uses V+, V-, and chassis
ground pins.

Customers may optionally order a DC power adapter
(P/N:31-62120-0010) and terminal block (P/N: 20-C2M2C-0030)
from ADLINK.

2.4.5

COM Port (RS-232/485) Connection

The EOS-JNX COM port default setting is RS-232. The serial port
(/dev/ttyTHS0) UART mode can be configured by the

EOSJNX-

ConfigManager

 tool.

WARNING:

Before providing DC power to the EOS-JNX, ensure the volt-
age and polarity provided are compatible with the DC input.
Improper input voltage and/or polarity can be responsible for
system damage.
