5.6 EFI Boot Services Driver (BSD)
This section provides the features, description, and installation of
the LSI FC EFI Boot Services Driver.
5.6.1 EFI BSD Features
The LSI FC EFI Boot Services Driver provides BIOS and Configu-
ration services for systems that use an EFI system BIOS, such as
an Intel Itanium processor system, or Apple Intel-based platforms.
The BSD provides:

Selection and configuration for all installed FC adapters
X
Automatic drive mapping for a maximum of 8 logical buses
and 128 FC drives per bus
X
Boot device selection from one of 128 FC drives/volumes
(limited to the first logical bus)
NOTE: NOTE:
The system must be power-cycled before the changes take
effect. It is not sufficient to execute the
reset-all
command.
