This mode allows to extend a serial
line based on Master-Slave concept,
where there are more Slave lines
dislocated in different places.
Note:
This modality uses UDP
packets.
The window is divided in two
section, one for Master device and
the other for Slave devices. It is
possible to assign a label to each
device in order to have a name to
use for understand the project to
upload.
The means
of the fields for
“ETHERNET” are:
In the field “
IP Address
”
the
IP
address
of
the
converter is defined;
In the field “
SubNet Mask
”
the Subnet Mask of the
converter is defined;
If the field “
Use Gateway
”
is checked, in the field below
it is possible to insert the IP
Address of the gateway used
for going out to the net in
the field under;
