Positioning and commissioning of the scale 

Insert batteries 

Open the battery compartment underneath the scale and insert batteries 4x LR6 / AA 1.5V (not 
included in delivery) 

Make sure to insert batteries respecting the indicated polarity (+/-). Close the battery 
compartment and control the safe latching. 

Positioning of the scale 

Place the scale on a level surface. 
Make sure all four flexible feet embedded on the bottom side of the scale have direct contact 
to the surface. Minor unevenness is levelled by the flexibility of the feet. 
 

Make sure the scale is not bouncing but has a firm stand. 
This is imperative to secure the safety of the baby and a necessary condition to achieve 
a correct and reliable weight result. 

Commissioning of the scale 

The  scale  can  be  operated  on  either  mains  or  batteries.  Subject  to  proper  insertment  of 
batteries you may switch on the scale immediately by pressing the ON / TARE key. 
 
For use on mains the scale has to be connected to the mains adapter included.  
The  connecting  plug  is  situated  on  the  backside  of  the  scale.  Make  sure  to  only  use  the 
delivered mains adapter. 
Before  connection  of  mains  adapter  please  check  the  voltage  parameter  imprinted  on  the 
mains adapter corresponds to the local voltage. If this is not the case DO NOT connect the 
adapter to the scale! 
 
Connect the mains adapter to the local power supply.
