little force for 2 seconds.

Inserting/changing batteries
To use the scales, you require 2 batteries of the type CR2032, 3V (included in scope of
delivery). The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.
1. Press the locking tab in the direction of the battery compartment cover and remove
the battery compartment cover, which is labelled with
OPEN
.
2. Push the batteries against the contact springs under the large, angular retaining
tabs. The batteries then snap into the opposite retaining collars, such that the
batteries sit firmly in their retainers.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus pole (+) for both batteries must
point upwards.
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap
securely into place.
Notes on changing the battery:
A change of batteries becomes necessary when “LO” appears on the
display, or when nothing at all is displayed.
Only use the type of battery that is specified in the “Technical Data”.
Always change both batteries at the same time.
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see
“Disposal”)
