Remove the AIRport 2000 battery cover, as 
shown in the following diagram, and insert 
four AA batteries. (Alkaline batteries are rec-
ommended.) Then replace the cover.

Place the AIRport 2000 on a hard, flat, level sur-
face at least 1 foot away from your PC monitor.

Point the AIRport 2000 lens directly at the infra-
red port in the other computing device. Be sure 
there are no books, papers, or other objects 
between the devices. You can place AIRport 2000 
in either of the two positions shown in the follow-
ing diagram:
