Press button (4) to switch the appliance on/off.

In measurement mode, press button (5) to activate scan mode (SCAN) or data hold mode (HOLD). Press and button

MODE button (7):
Turns the unit on. Press button (7) to select the appropriate measurement mode depending on the object to be

MAX/MIN button (8)
In the measuring mode, press button (8) to move to the Maximum or Minimum mode. Press the (8) button briefly.
The MAX icon appears on the display. The maximum measurement value is shown on the display. Press button (8)
again to enter the minimum measurement mode. Press button (8) again to return to the normal measuring mode.
