Audio Inputs 2 - 8
(Not Including Tuner Input 1)
The Suite 8100 features eight analog stereo audio inputs. Since the Suite 8100’s internal
tuner uses one of these inputs (typically input 1), you have seven inputs available for other
source devices. These can include additional tuners (Duo or Tune Suite), the iHome Multi-
Center Hard Drive Server, iBase iPod docking system, or sources provided by others includ-
ing CD players, DVD players, satellite receivers, CD servers, etc.

ONNECTIONS
The Suite 8100 features class-D digital amplification which is designed to run cool and remain
stable to support 2 Ohm loads per zone. Each zone has a removable screw terminal connec-
tor for attaching the home-run speaker cables. In order to assure the best possible sound,
make certain to maintain polarity by p to the + lead on both the left and right speakers
and - to -. This will ensure that the speakers are “in phase” or working together. For optimal
performance, do not load a single speaker channel with a load below 2 Ohms. Do not short
the outputs.
