word LEFT will also ap-
pear. To set the delay
level for this channel,
turn the Volume knob.
In this example, the front
left speaker needs to be
set to 2 feet.
To advance the chan-
nel selector arrow,
turn the Room knob.
Again, use the vol-
ume knob to set the
delay level for the
Center channel.

Because the Right channel (speaker) is the furthest distance from the primary seating posi-
tion, this speaker does not get delayed at all. As such, its Delay Level remains at 0.
Repeat these steps for each of the other speaker
channels in the system. In this example, this
involves setting the Left Surround Delay to 8 feet,
the Subwoofer Delay to 4 feet, and the Right Sur-
round Delay to 9 feet.
Again, use the Room knob
to select channels and the
Volume knob to adjust the
channels Delay Level.
Because the two Back Surround Channels in this
example (left and right) are the same distance,
each of these channels will have their Delay set
to 10 feet.
