Check Voice System Interaction
Audio System and ODMD
1. Press and release the Talk button.
2. When you hear the voice portal prompt, wait for the beep and say “Audio.”
3. After your command is accepted, wait for the beep and say “SXM.”
4. After your command is accepted, wait for the beep and say “Channel 122.” You should see channel
122
on the
ODMD.
Climate Control System
1. Select
AUTO
to turn on the climate control system.
2. Press and release the Talk button.
3. When you hear the voice portal prompt, wait for the beep and say “Climate control.”
4. After your command is accepted, wait for the beep and say “Temperature max cool.” The climate control should
come on in response.

(HFL)
To ensure HFL works and is ready to use, start the engine, turn on the audio-navigation unit, then press and hold the
Hang-up/Back button on the steering wheel for about
5 seconds
. You should hear “The HFT is OK.” If you do not hear
this message, see the service information for troubleshooting information.

10-Speed Transmission
This vehicle comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
2.
Traffic Jam Assist (TJA)
This vehicle comes with TJA. It uses a radar sensor mounted inside the front grille, along with a windshield-mounted
camera, to detect and monitor lane lines as well as any vehicle ahead. In heavy traffic, with the Adaptive Cruise Control
with Low Speed Follow on, it will adjust the vehicle speed to keep a set interval with the vehicle ahead and apply
steering torque to keep the vehicle centered in the lane. See the online owner’s manual for details.

Shift by Wire (SBW)
You select gears by either pressing or pulling up on each of the SBW shifter assembly buttons. Park, Neutral, and Drive
are all activated by pressing
down
on the corresponding letter. Reverse is activated when you pull
up
on the button.
Colored indicators next to each button tell you which gear is selected.
Shifting from Park to Reverse, Park to Drive, Neutral to Reverse, and Neutral to Drive can only be done with the brake
pedal applied.
