Getting the Headlights to Pop Up
If both headlights don't pop up when
you turn them on, try the headlight
motor button on the dashboard (see
page
57
). If one or both headlights
are still down, do the following:
1. Check the fuses for the headlight
doors in the under-hood fuse box
(see page
264
). If you find a
blown fuse, replace it with a spare
fuse and try the headlights.
2. If no fuses are blown, or the
replacement fuse blows immedi-
ately, remove the fuse for the
headlight door or doors that won't
open. Put the cover back on the
fuse box.
3. Remove the plastic cap on top of
the headlight motor.
4. Turn the headlight motor knob
clockwise. The headlight door will
start to rise. Keep turning until the
door is fully open.
5. Put the plastic cap back on the
headlight motor with the arrow
facing forward. Do not replace the
headlight motor fuse until you can
have the car checked by the
dealer.
