
After the barbecue is finished
•
Switch device off once you have finished the barbecue.
To do this, turn air regulating control anti-clockwise up to the stop until it engages.
The charcoal will carry on glowing for a while once the air supply is switched
off and the device remains very hot. Danger of burning!
•
Wait until charcoal is completely burned down and the barbecue has cooled off completely.
•
Undo both clips and lift grate off.
•
Remove charcoal basket with lid.
•
Remove fat drip tray.
•
Remove cold ash and clean barbecue, ideally prior to every use.
•
Use washing-up liquid to clean grate and fat drip pan in your kitchen sink.
Gently beat the charcoal basket with lid and, if necessary, clean with a brush and a dry cloth.
Clean barbecue container with a slightly damp cloth.
•
Use a suitable barbecue brush to remove food residues.
•
Always clean the barbecue with warm washing-up water.
Storage
•
Protect the product from damp and stormy weather.
•
Leave the barbecue set completely assembled and put it away in the provided-for bag to protect it
during storage.
•
Remove batteries if you are not using the barbecue for a longer period of time.
Environment and disposal
•
Keep the barbecue set clean and handle it carefully, also when you want to dispose of its parts.
•
Dispose of the residual waste only in metal containers or those made of non-flammable material.
•
The device may not be disposed of with household waste or bulky waste.
Your local council will tell you where to find the correct collection places or tell you about the times of refuse collection.
•
Batteries do not belong in the household waste. Use the available battery collection containers to dispose of
your batteries.
•
Also dispose of the wrapping material (paper, foil, and plastic) in an environmentally friendly manner.
