Audible Buzzer
When you have taken a temperature
reading in either two
MODES
(body or
surface) a buzzer will sound. To turn the
buzzer on or off follow these simple steps.
Press the
button on the right-hand
side of the device, and this turns the buzzer
ON
or
OFF
.
When the
LCD display
shows
ON
, the
buzzer will sound on taking a measurement
and the temperature reading will show on
the
LCD display
as well.
When the
LCD display
shows
OFF
, the
buzzer will not sound on taking a
measurement but the temperature reading
will show on the
LCD display
only.
Recalibration
When there is a difference between the
Activ8rlives
Contactless Thermometer
Bluetooth 4.0 and a mercury thermometer,
you can use the recalibration function to
adjust the device to give the same reading
(see Page 15 for details of recalibration).
