Take note that a standard power adapter cable has two (2) different wires:

Connect the wire with the white stripe to the 

12V

 pin and the other to the 

GND

 pin. 

   

 

NOTE:

 The terminal block pictures are for reference only, note that actual label placement

Tighten the screws of the 

12V

 pin and the 

GND

 pins to secure the wire connection.
