1.7.17 CPU Clock Frequency Selector: Jp2
Overclocking is to operate a CPU with a frequency which
surpass the default CPU clock. Jp2 jumper is designed to offer a
chance for CPU overclocking.when starting system.
If a 100MHz CPU is used on board, setting Jp2 to 1-2 closed or
2-3 closed will not offer a chance of overclocking from 100MHz
to 133MHz. Only if Jp2 is set at all pins open, there will be a
chance of starting the system with 133MHz.
Jp2 Setting
NOTE:
Intel usually provides CPUs with locked CPU frequency so as to
forbid CPU overclock. We therefore don’t recommend users to do
CPU overclocking on Intel CPU because you may risk CPU damage.
