8.1 Gearbox
Check gearbox for leaks, around seals in particular. If leaks are discovered, replace defective gearbox parts or entire gearbox
if necessary.
Keep gearbox cooling fins clean.
8.1.1 Electric motor
Keep motor cooling fins and fan cover clean.
8.2 Cleaning
The motor and gearbox must be kept clean to ensure optimum cooling.
Keep inside of unit free of feed residues. This is particularly important if the unit is installed in damp surroundings.
