4.5  Wake-on-LAN 

Wake-on-LAN (WOL is a mechanism which allows you to turn on your system via 
Ethernet connection. To utilize Wake-on-LAN function, you have to enable this option 
first in BIOS settings. Please refer to

 the

 

Powering on via Wake-on-LAN function

 

section. 

To enable/disable “Wake on LAN” option: 

1. Press 

F2

 when the system boots up to enter the BIOS setup utility.

2. Go to 

[Power]

.

3. You may enable/disable the 

[Wake on LAN]

 option.

4. Once set, press 

F10

 to save setting and exit.
