CONNECTORS
The device contains 11 connectors:
- One 8-point socket receiving a removable spring-cage type connector
This connector is used for the two main power supply entries, the POE
PSE power supply, and the alarm contacts. Use the M4 screw on the
left of the connector for Earth grounding.
PWR 1
: Power supply 1, +9VDC to +75VDC
GND 1
: Ground for Power supply 1
PWR 2
: Power supply 2, +9VDC to +75VDC
GND 2
: Ground for Power supply 2
48VDC POE
: POE PSE Power supply, +48VDC.
GND POE
: POE PSE Ground.
Alarm
: Non-polarized alarm contact (static relay)
- Eight RJ-45 connectors for LAN 1 to 8.
The eight Ethernet ports are auto-sensing (10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX
Half/Full Duplex) and self-configuring to allow connection via either a
cross-over or straight-through cable (MDI/MDIX Auto)
The upper LED of each LAN connector indicates the connection
speed: yellow = 10 Mbps, green = 100 Mbps. The lower LED of each
connector light up in green when the port provides the power supply
over Ethernet to a remote device (POE Power Source).
- Two antenna connectors type RP-SMA Male
One « Main » connector for the main antenna, used
for Tx/Rx Wlan activity, and an « Aux » connector»
for the auxiliary antenna, used in diversity mode.
If you don’t plug the Auxiliary antenna, consider
plugging a 50 Ohms RP-SMA type antenna
terminator.
C-KEY INSTALLATION
The C-KEY is a storage device, used to save and restore the product
configuration. It should be removed and inserted only when the WLg-
SWITCH power supply is OFF.
