HARDWARE INSTALLATION
1. Plug
antennas
Connect the two integrated antennas to “Main” & “Aux” N-type connectors.

Connect the power supply
See the “specifications” section about the characteristics of the power supply.
The PoE version of the product can be powered up from a PoE injector.
Earth grounding precautions
If you do not use an isolated power supply, connect the power supply
ground (0V) to the earth grounding of the product,
to guard against
potential destructions due to ground reference differences with other devices.
The POE version (WLg-ABOARD/NP) can be powered up from a POE
injector (48 VDC) connected to Lan2 connector.
The device has no ON/OFF switch. It turns on automatically when power is
applied. Verifiy the 2 leds Power1 and Power2 :

Power1 led is ON if POWER1 power supply or POE source is ON.

Power2 led is ON if POWER 2 power supply is ON.
The Diag led stays ON until the device is ready to use, usually in less than
10s.
3.
Connect the Ethernet cable
Plug the Ethernet cable to the device’s lan1 or lan2 M12 connector. The RJ45
side can be connected to any RJ45 plug of the network, and then verify that:

Lan1 or Lan2 led is ON (According to the Ethernet port which is
plugged in).
CONFIGURATION

Modifying the default IP address 192.168.1.253
From any P.C of the network, run the multi-platform application
ACKSYS
NDM
application (found on the CD ROM).
Go directly to step 5 if the default IP address is compatible with your network.
Select the device and click on «
Configure IP
» button.
You can configure the IP address or activate DHCP.
