Reset Configuration Data
Select Enabled to reset Extended System
Configuration Data (ESCD) when you exit Setup
if you have installed a new add-on and the
system configuration has caused such a serious
conflict that the OS cannot boot.

Resources Controlled By
Setting this option to Manual allows you to
individually assign the IRQs and DMAs to the
ISA and PCI devices. Set this to Auto to enable
the auto-configuration function.

IRQ Resources
IRQ 3 (COM2)
IRQ 4 (COM1)
IRQ 5 (Network/Sound or
Others)

IRQ 9 (Video or Others)
IRQ 10 (SCSI or Others)
IRQ 11 (SCSI or Others)
IRQ 12 (PS/2 Mouse)
IRQ 14 (IDE1)
IRQ15 (IDE2)
Set “ Resources Controlled By” to Manual to
show the IRQ Resources.
If your ISA card is not PnP compatible and
requires a special IRQ to support its function, set
the selected IRQ to Legacy ISA. This setting
informs the PnP BIOS to reserve the selected
IRQ for the installed legacy ISA card. The default
is PCI/ISA PnP. Take note that PCI cards are
always PnP compatible (except old PCI IDE
cards).
