Machine Maintenance

Replacing the CPU

1.

Place the CPU into the mainboard making sure the gold arrow on the corner of the 
processor is aligned with the beveled corner of the socket. The processor will easily fit into 
the socket if it is properly oriented.

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to turn the socket screw clockwise to secure the CPU in place.
