Chapter 3

5.

Disconnect the DC-input cable from the mainboard, then remove the mainboard.

Removing the Heatsink Fan Module

1.

Perform the “Removing the Mainboard” procedure on page 55.

2.

Turn the mainboard over to access the heatsink fan cable. 

3.

Disconnect the heatsink fan cable from its mainboard connector.

4.

Loosen the heatsink screws. Follow the sequence indicated on the below images.

NOTE: 

 The TravelMate 4740G/4740ZG system may be shipped with NVIDIA N11M-GE1-B-A3 or N11P-GE1-

A3 module.
