Remove the optical drive cover. 

Removing the Heatsink 

WARNING:

The heatsink becomes very hot when the system is on. NEVER touch the heatsink with any metal 

or with your hands. 

1.

Use a long-nosed screwdriver to loosen the four screws on the heatsink.

3.

Lift the heatsink off the mainboard.
