adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will
often require extensive work by a qualified technician to
restore the product to normal condition.

12 To avoid the hazard of unexpected electrical shock, use the AC
adaptor only when the wall AC socket is ensured to be properly
grounded.
13 Use only the proper type of power supply cord set (provided in
your accessories box) for this unit. It should be a detachable type:
UL listed/CSA certified, type SPT-2, rated 7 A 125 V minimum, VDE
approved or its equivalent. Maximum length is 4.6 metres (15
feet).
14 Always disconnect all telephone lines from the wall outlet before
serving or disassembling this equipment.
15 Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an
electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of electric shock from
lightning.
