(Forces &Q5, S36=7, and S48=7)
AT\N4 Selects LAPM error-correction mode. Failure to make an LAPM
error-correction connection results in the modem hanging up.
(Forces &Q5 and S48=0) Note:The-K1 command can override the
\N4 command.
AT\N5 Selects MNP error-correction mode. Failure to make an MNP
error-correction connection results in the modem hanging up.
(Forces &Q5, S36=4, and S48=128)
AT+MS Commands Select Modulation
AT+MS? Inquiry current modulation status
The response is :+MS:<mod>,<automode>,<min_rate>,<max_rate>
where, <mod> is modulation mode
<automode> 0 - Automode disabled
1 - Automode enabled without V.8 (except for V.34)
2 - Automode enabled with V.8 for any applicable
modulation
<min_rate> and <max_rate> are the specified range of possible
DCE linking speed.
For example, +MS:9,1,1200,14400
Supported Options: The modem can send a string of information to the DTE
consisting of supported options.
+MS=? The response is: +MS:(list of supported <mod> values),
(list of supported <automode>values),
(list of supported <min_rate>values),
(list of supported<max_rate>values)
+MS=u[,v,w,x,y,z]
where, u 0 V.21 300 bps
1 V.22 1200 bps
2 V.22bis 2400 or 1200 bps
3 V.23 1200
9 V.32 9600 or 4800
10 V.32bis 14400, 12000, 9600, 7200, or 4800
11 V.34 33600, 31200, 28800, 26400, 24000, 21600, 19200, 16800
