7.4-Overload safety system in e.lift501
The overload safety device integrated at the hoist
stops completely the platform in this cases:
a) Overload or incorrect load distribution at the plat-
form,
b) The platform has an obstacle during the ascent.
An acoustic bleeper, placed at the electric cabinet,
reports this overload.
If the platform has overload it’s necessary to re-
move the load over the platform or the obstacle.
After that it’s necessary to press the overload illuminated
pushbutton and START for a restart of the platform.

Upper and final limit switch in e.lift501
The ascent of the platform stops when the upper
limit switch touches the end fixed disk at the wire ropes.
The descent continues being possible.
In case of error, this device has a second contact
that stops all the platform’s movements.
The upper limit switch must be installed on safety
wire ropes, 20-30cm under height of the wire hook.

indicated in section 1
