The electronic driver features two contacts where to connect the fan in case of compressor fan
cooling as described in point 2.
An adequate heat removal mechanism from both the electronic driver and the compressor is
fundamental for an optimal performance and reliability of the unit. The cooling method should be
selected depending on the working conditions of the appliance, with major factors being the
compressor speed and the evaporation temperature, and also, but secondary, the condensation
temperature.
FREE AIR CIRCULATION OVER THE COMPRESSOR AND THE ELECTRONIC DRIVER MUST ALWAYS BE
GUARANTEED.
Table 6 shows the recommended cooling method for a standard condensation temperature of 55ºC. The
table should be taken as a recommendation, as the only way to validate a design is testing the appliance
at the highest evaporation, condensation and ambient temperature, verifying that the electronic driver
overheat protection does not act.
